ACME Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL)

ACME Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL)
Machine Overview

Conventional Vertical Turning for Large Engineering Components

The ACME Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) provides conventional vertical turning capability for large and heavy engineering components. Unlike the AVEA CNC Vertical Machining Center, the ACME VTL is not a CNC machine.

With a maximum swing diameter of 3000 mm and a maximum turning height of 2000 mm, the machine supports suitable large-component machining requirements across demanding engineering applications.

As part of Ashutor Enterprises' integrated machining infrastructure, the ACME VTL complements the company's CNC and large-capacity machining capabilities, providing conventional vertical turning support for suitable components according to defined technical requirements.

  • Large-component vertical turning.
  • Conventional machining capability.
  • Large working capacity within the specified operating envelope.
  • Integrated route: Fabrication → Rough Machining → Conventional Vertical Turning → Finishing → Inspection.
